Mike has been in the financial services industry for over 24 years. He began his career early on, right out of high school, at a large publicly traded company on the ground floor in the accounts receivable department. He oversaw a group of 24 agents and then eventually moved up to the position Director of Operations, reporting directly to the Vice President of the company. He then at age 32 started a mortgage company with his wife and grew the business to 50+ employees generating in excess of 35+ million dollars a month in loan volume. After 12 years, he then decided to move into the insurance industry as his passion for helping people grew and he saw he could make a true impact on people's lives.

He graduated with 2 Associates Degrees from a local community college in Business Management and Computer Programming. He also attended the University of Baltimore and was pursuing a B.S. degree in Applied Information Technology. He ultimately left as he no longer had a passion for computer programming.

He is a contributor to the Family First Life blog and many of his articles can be seen here.  He has 2 children and has been married for over 19 years. His passion for helping people and his analytical approach to life insurance makes him an asset to the many people he meets with.
